Touring Museums From Home
This just in from Google: the Art Project. It's a project that took many, many months and developed in partnerships with museums around the world. And it's really cool.
From the comfort of your browser, you can tour select rooms from a list of museums. Find a piece that you like? Click the plus button to get more information about it. Use the zoom tool to get up close and personal (even closer than the gallery guards would let you). It's amazing how they captured the strokes, canvas, even cracked paint in these detailed images!
What do you think? Any artists or museums you've been wanting to visit? Are they featured on Art Project?

World's Largest House of Cards
Bryan Berg used 218,792 cards (4,051 decks) and in 44 days created the World Record House of Cards. He did this without the use of glue, tape, or other material!
To check out the full story and watch a video click here. I wonder if he makes a living building these or if its just a hobby?
